In an amazing display of bravado, the WNBA has the guts to torture sports fans with a yet another season. Starting this weekend, some WNBA teams–that I dare not remember the names of–will take to the court and display good, old-fashioned, fundamental basketball.

Why do you do this, WNBA? We are already dreading the end of the NBA season, so why slap us in the face with your style of “basketball”? Isn’t baseball punishment enough?

Now if you excuse me, WNBA, please take your case of Miller Ultra and just leave me be! I have some Jai-Alai to watch.
